Hi. I'm Lourdes.

LAfoto.jpg

I am a product and food photographer. My passion for photography and gastronomy, brings to the table a perfect combination to elevate brands voices.

My day to day work involves many different kinds of projects, from product photoshoots to food photography, as well as creating bright and colored stop motions.

The variety continues to fuel my passion and helps me to fall in love with my work more and more and every day.

I’ve worked with small businesses and big brands around the world. Whether you’re a start-up or a huge company, the results and passion are the same.

What is your favorite thing about the creative process?

My most favorite thing about being a photographer is being able to visualize a shot and then bring it to life.

Where did your passion for food come from?

My passion for food was sparked many years ago when my mother owned a restaurant. I loved being in the kitchen cooking and sharing the food with friends and family. I translated that love into a cooking blog where I shared recipes and cooking tips.

How did you transition from business into focusing on food photography?

Photography is my first love. Back in 2005 when I was in highschool I started studying and practicing photography.

My transition into food photography came right after I finished my business bachelor and got hired for a culinary magazine.

My kitchen skills translated into soft food styling. Today I continue to hone my both photography and food styling skills.

What are you doing when you’re not in the studio?

In my spare time, I enjoy camping, road tripping and walking around connecting with nature.
